Principal’s message

Our Institute was founded by Late Smt. Sujata Devi, daughter-in-law of the renowned personality Desbandhu Chittaranjan Das in the year 1955.
The trainees come here from different districts of W.B with diverse socio economic & cultural background. Trainees are not only involved in stereotype teaching- learning process inside the classroom but also in several activities such as:
• Different cultural programs
• Organizing Exhibition, debate, Seminars, social Awareness programs, Relief work etc.
• Survey work ( e.g NAS 2017)
• Visit to old age/ orphanage home, Mela, Science Fair etc.
• Beautification of the Institute
• Creative writing
• Plantation Program
For the holistic development of the trainees our Lecturers always extend their helping hand to make them understand the curriculum properly & on ways to deploy it in the practical field through different teaching methodologies.
We also share a good relationship with other stakeholders & community around our Institute.
We try to inculcate the value of cultural diversity & develop different teaching & learning programs which enable all type of trainees to feel successful in inclusive environment.
We also instilthe values of respect, love, co-operation, tolerance & excellence.
